Who is Akira Watts Politics. Read one of his 2014 writings for Democrat Underground. Amherst was certainly no the right school for him. He is struggling to find his nitch, place in life. I taught students who did not fit into the world of mathematics-------one young woman just could not understand anything to do with numbers and Algebra----etc.. I thought about how can I help her to follow her talent of art -------and not worry about why she could not do basic Algebra and other math. So I focused on helping her to understand the math in her art. That worked to some extent-----giving her a low C to get her out of the track she was in Math----never to walk into another mathematics class that she could not function in. Yes, a public school --------with no flexibility for the students.
