Ferdinand Piëch has pranked Volkswagen Group really good and has also financially damaged everyone in his and the Porsche family quite badly.

His practical joke may even send him to prison. Isn't that a hoot?

I bet the people laughing the loudest are the 11 million Volkswagen customers. "Oh that Piëch," they chuckle, "the way he sold me a car which now has virtually no resale value, that's rich." "When I told my wife, she was crying with laughter and called a class-action attorney a friend of her's had recommended."

That's the problem with our world today, not everyone has a good sense of humor.

The UK government is to launch its own investigation into vehicle emissions testing, following the VW scandal in the US. - bbc.com

The UK regulator, the Vehicle Certification Agency, will work with car makers to re-run lab tests where necessary and compare the results against "real-world" driving emissions.

Germany's transport minister says Volkswagen has admitted using the same fake emissions test in Europe as it used to falsify results in the US. The EU has also said that there should be a Europe-wide investigation into emissions testing.

Australia has indicated they'll will ban sales of Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche cars in Australia if the defective cars are not replaced.

They're going to prank Piëch real good. One practical joke often leads to another in retaliation because they're so hilarious. Ha ha.
