hello Hal & all - Hal sez "CSCC will end up saving ASND's *ss" IMHO, it is not possible to say who is saving who b/c of their respective niche mkts that can be prone to boom or bust (feast or famine, if one prefers <vbg>.) By complementing each other, they spread/hedge the risk somewhat, especially the pre merged CSCC's customers are telcos who tend to build out in lumps. One segment cos like SHVA and FORE are very vulnerable if their technologies turn cold suddenly or encounter increase competitions. OTOH, small cos are not deep pocket enough to be all things to all peoples (sad case: MADGF.) Ultimately, it is either consoldiation or extinction. rgds Bosco
