tech: >>ConSyGen states that in their conversion process, once the rules are established, NOT ONE LINE OF CODE IS CONVERTED MANUALLY.<<

And, just how do you think they define these "rules" ???

Certainly not automatically. Probably manually. Most definitely manually ... by a programmer. A CSGI programmer.

Their process is an iterative one. Define rules (manually), run conversion (automatically), find exceptions (combination of automation and manual effort).

If exceptions are found, figure out how to handle them, then go back to rules definition and start the whole process over again. If no exceptions are found after the next conversion, you're done.

Fully automated? I don't think so.

>>Whether you believe their claims or not is insignificant.<<

True. Likewise, your opinions are insignificant.

Whatever ...

My new years resolution is to find out more about ALYD and TPRO and maybe VIAS since the price is lower now than before. I started looking at DDIM but was scared by some things people said about it and people on the Y2K thread dont mention them very much. Can you please explain why VIAS is not fully automated. Does that mean their and PTUS and SEEC technology is worse than CSGI? That is how I interpret your thoughts. I also interpret that you think those three companies did not spend enough time to become fully automated. Why would a company like VIAS etc not want to be fully automated? Maybe you are saying that CSGI research people have more vision than the people at VIAS etc? But reality does not now make it look like that is the case. The "why" of it is what I want to really understand.
