I find it entertaining because they won't last long enough to do serious damage. Like with the Know Nothings, they will discredit themselves and vanish.

Will they do damage? Yes. Nature of the beast. But the only way to get rid of them is to give them enough power to hang themselves. If they go away for another 150 years, it is a cheap price.
