Hm, well I think investing in microcaps is a bit like operating a stickshift - if you're really good at it you can probably outperform an automatic but if you're not it's probably best to steer clear. Buffett's advocacy for the strategy is good enough for me: gurufocus.com

I can say the only reason I've made money this year was my microcaps. But if I'd been in the market 5-10 years ago like many of you, that story might be different :) As long as the purchase price is safe, I have no problem holding into nosebleed territory. That's been my real handicap.
