He wasn't reporting a problem per se, but was wondering about google spreadsheet security and the possibility of being hacked.

My inclination is to believe they are pretty safe, but of course anything in the cloud or on our personal equipment are always susceptible to potential threats.

That strategy is quicker and more productive than trying to read a manual. I used it all the time. The trick is putting the search text together correctly. It might take 3 or 4 tries to find what you are looking for. One thing for sure, if you have a problem someone else has had the same problem many times before.
