Sadly I never had the privilege of seeing many of these long departed friends you speak of, but I suspect they may have been more fun than the sad sacks that are around today trying to fly the flag. Do you think those that are long departed, were inflicted by a mental condition that caused them to believe that "parts is parts", or did they have more sense than that, despite being otherwise totally deficient on the sense front.
