This is not really so. It is not that all animals including humans "should" live in chaos it is that they DO live in chaos. If there is no God all of the universe exists by random chance. There are no laws or design that govern the universe that are guaranteed in perpetuity.. The universe is the result of random chance and can alter or change by random chance. The laws we believe govern the universe are only current but there is no certainty that they will continue.
Humans understanding of the universe is constantly changing. There are questions that are thus far without answers. There is an infinite list of "what ifs". For example: What if our universe is located on the head of a match in a much larger universe? Our whole conception of time and space may be nonsense to beings in that larger universe.
The span of our lifetimes is as nothing when compared to the existence of our universe. The very best we can imagine for our infinitesimally small lifetime is to live with some security and comfort. Then our existence ends.
Humanity exist solely be chance and humanities continued existence is solely by chance. Morality and lofty ideals are but delusions created by humans to maintain their sanity and contribute to security and comfort as they live out their lives. In reality they mean nothing more.

"If POKERSAM is right then ALL animals including humans should just live in chaos if there isn't any god."

I don't see the relevance of whether or not your dog loves you or the food you provide. It obviously seems relevant to you. Perhaps that makes you irrelevant.

I'm not trying to denigrate humans because their evolution has been an extraordinary accomplishment.
HMMM. You seem to think that man is responsible for his evolution. ????
This statement is as ridiculous as your discourse about your dog. May I ask who or what, if not man himself, is responsible for this "extraordinary accomplishment"? It just happened by chance in your Godless secular view. Another question is what makes it extraordinary. It just happened by chance. Out of random chaos came man totally by chance and without design. Does the fact of mankind's existence make us "lucky". lol Maybe what you mean is that human evolution has been very "lucky" for mankind. lol

So, there is random chance or God. Take your pick. Be aware that there are ramifications that accompany your choice..
