I performed a few tests after uninstalling Firefox.
  • After uninstalling Firefox, browser information was still buried in the user appdata folder and a fresh install of Firefox still had all the information of the previous installation. (You already stated this.)

  • Chrome was still able to import Firefox browser information after Firefox was uninstalled.

  • Finally and the most important test, Windows Disk Cleanup did not remove the Firefox Appdata information.
