Army Veteran Robbed, Shot and Paralyzed as Violent Crime Spirals Out of Control in St. Louis

Army veteran Chris Sanna took his mother to a Cardinals game last week.

Chris was robbed and shot in the back after the game.

Chris and his girlfriend gave the robber their valuables but he was shot in the back anyway.

** There have been 151 murders in St. Louis so far this year – nearing a 20 year high.

There have been at least three similar robberies in St. Louis in the past month. In each incident a black Democratic man robbed the victims then shot at them anyway..

Great job, Obama!

Pro-crime anti-gun fanatic liberals often say you don't need a gun. Criminals are rational and just want to get the money and go. This shows you can't count on that. Criminal Democrats just may shoot you on a whim.

Thug Critically Shot Attempting To Rob Elderly Woman In Indy

Posted by Bob Owens on September 22, 2015 at 5:16 pm

A 27-year-old man with outstanding warrants was shot numerous times as he attempted to assault and rob an elderly woman in Indianapolis at gunpoint. The woman’s husband to exception to the thug’s behavior and shot him numerous times.

A man was reportedly trying to rob an elderly woman when he was critically shot on the east side Monday afternoon.

Anthony Talley, 27, was shot several times in the 700 block of North Bosart Avenue just after 4:30 p.m. EMS personnel took him to the hospital in critical condition. He was still listed as critical late Monday night.

Witnesses later told police Talley was trying to rob an elderly female business owner inside her rental office at the time. As he pointed a gun at the woman, the victim’s husband appeared from the back of the house. He feared his wife was in danger, so he shot Talley.

The elderly couple was not hurt.

Talley’s criminal record included arrests for resisting law enforcement, firearms charges, and possession of cocaine.

Gun control groups would have preferred that the younger, stronger felon not face the threat of armed senior citizens.

We frankly don’t care what they think

MAYOR: “It’s His Second Amendment Right.” Concealed Carrier Shoots Bank Robber

Posted by Bob Owens on September 22, 2015 at 8:01 am

A 43-year-old bank robber thought that he’d knock-off the Citizen’s Bank in Warren, Michigan yesterday, and he might have gotten away with it… if he hadn’t pointed his gun at a 63-year-old concealed carrier who didn’t care for his behavior.

A thief walked into a Warren bank expecting to rob it at about 4 p.m. Monday.

But a concealed pistol license holder shot the bank robber three times once in the leg and once in each arm. He is recovering in serious condition at St. John Providence Hospital.

A passer-by recorded a phone video of the bad guy’s very bad day at Citizen’s Bank at Van Dyke north of Nine Mile in Warren.

“It’s not every day you see a bad guy get shot and get taken down,” said witness Gary Guyette.

The 43-year-old suspect turned his gun on the wrong customer, a 63-year-old CPL holder who was packing heat, himself.

“The 63-year-old responded in kind by defending himself,” said Mayor Jim Fouts. “It’s his Second Amendment right.”

“The one guy’s arm was full of blood,” said Guyette.

Guyette pulled up in front of the bank to see police apprehending a wounded and whimpering robber

“They cuffed him and then they surrounded him,” he said. “He was moaning and kind of screaming and paramedics pulled up and started working on him.”

FOX 2: “Is it surprising at all to hear about this?”

“To be honest with you, no,” said Stefan Bahry.

Bahry is a firearm instructor at the Action Impact Gun Range.

He says more and more people are obtaining CPLs and the self-defense shooting at the Citizens Bank is proof of what can happen when the good guys who are law abiding citizens, are armed.

“For those people that are anti-gun and anti-us civilians carrying firearms, I say what if that was you inside of that bank,” Bahry said. “What if that person turned his gun on everybody inside the bank and just started shooting people for the heck of it. Maybe there is that one person that’s going to defend your life and that’s going to defend my life.”

The formal investigation into the incident is still on-going, but the police do not expect to file charges against the customer who took down the robber.

Senior Shoots Home Invader in Phoenix

Posted by Bob Owens on September 23, 2015 at 9:38 am

An elderly man in Phoenix gave a man attempting to break into his home a warning that he was armed.

The home invader unwisely failed to heed that warning.

An elderly man shot a suspected burglar inside a home on Tuesday morning.

Phoenix police say the shooting happened in the 3200 block of W. Sells Drive near 35th Avenue and Indian School around 10:20 in the morning. It is unknown if the suspect will survive.

The homeowner a 60-year-old man was home alone when he heard someone in his back yard and then glass breaking. As he saw the suspect enter the home through a window the man warned the suspect he had a gun.

He warned the suspect a second time and police say he perceived a threat so he opened fire.

Supporters of gun control—particularly the unthinking radicals who don’t want any citizens to be armed—would have left this senior citizen at a severe disadvantage in dealing with the suspect, who was estimated to be 17-20 years old. If it were not for the equalizing force of a firearm, the young criminal would have had a distinct physical advantage over the much older man.

People who support gun control are pro-criminal, even if they don’t want to think of themselves that way. Criminals do not obey laws, and some human predators actually take delight in hurting and even killing innocent people.

Firearms provide an equalizing force which allows someone properly trained in their use an opportunity to defend themselves against predators that may be bigger, stronger, younger, more aggressive, and in greater numbers.

You’ll note that even after being shot severely enough that he’s not expected to survive, the young criminal was still able to run five blocks before collapsing. Even fatal shots are not always immediately fatal shots. Even perfect hits may not have the desired effect, and so you must gauge your response on how the threat reacts.

Homeowner Kills Home Invader in Texas

Posted by Bob Owens on September 25, 2015 at 4:20 pm 1 SHARES

A trio of criminals picked the wrong home to target near Houston.

One suspect is dead and two others on the run after a homeowner reportedly opened fire during an attempted home invasion in northwest Harris County early this morning.

Investigators say the crooks were trying to break into the home on Brookhead Trail around 6am. What they didn’t know is the homeowner was awake. That homeowner fired several shots through the door.

At least one suspect was hit and later died at the hospital.

Details are still sketchy on the shooting, and only KTRK is covering it so far. We hope to have more details later.

You’ll note that the home invaders were shot through the door as they attempted to gain entry, but were not yet inside the home when shots were fired.

That is apparently legally justified in Texas, but may have lead to criminal charges in less free states.
