WaveTop Broadcast working with WebTV

would be awesome. I bet once those
1GB drives make it to market as part
of the WebTV console, that an agreement
with WAVO will be a slam dunk! I can't
imagine where else they'd get the content
without having to tie up your phone lines
during moments of inactivity. Doing it that
way would be pretty lame, especially since your
WebTV's already near your TV antenna, all they
gotta do is add a 300ohm input, some circuitry
and WAVO's in business! WebTV's already got
a few million subscribers. I just wonder if they'd
just pay WAVO for the content, or let them also pump
advertising as well... Hey, maybe that's the gimmick,
WebTV needs a way to get more elaborate ad's on to your
WebTV session without jamming up your modemn. What
better way to do it then with the WAVO system input!

Another interesting point from that article is that
WAVO working with PBS will be so much easier than
ABC, CBS, NBC having to stuggle with each local
affiliate to get them to carry another DataStream.
If it were not for all this damn DOJ nonsense with
MSFT, I'd load up on more WAVO, but for now, I'm
keeping my exposure modest, since the market's
burned me quite a bit the past few months...
