As I am fond of saying, if the FDA regulated semiconductors, the PC would still be 50 years away. You gotta love our government. It's a felony to administer to a terminally-ill human an experimental but promising cancer therapy, but you can toddle down to the 7/11, buy all the smokes you want and administer all of them to the same individual.
