The histories of Christianity and Islam have very strong parallels and have many of the same traditions.....the same being true for Judaism...... Visit the ME and observe the dress code, the food, the life style, the holidays.....many many similarities...... Example: take a look at the full black dress of catholic nuns and compare to the burka.... When I was young man a nun could not walk on the street alone, had to be accompanied by another nun.....same is true for burka'd women in the ME.... I heard a lecture on the parallels....fascinating. I don't recall whether the ME religions had a Jesus equivalent..
