<<So, I need some help. Would anyone buy Seagate today? I'm looking at
making a big buy Tuesday. Wait longer? Do it now? What do you well
informed think?>>

Don't hit me George, but you might get a chance to buy at $11 if you wait.

George, (with an aside to Gus)

I would not buy till quarterly earnings are digested in early to mid February. I think there is still some bad news coming from the sector. Actually I do not expect to see any strong rise in the stock until well into the second quarter. By then I think its possible some light at the end of the tunnel will show in the form of worked off inventorys and success with new product qualifications. I think that scenario will favor Seagate who is well armed for this period of slow down. Having said all this I'll draw your attention to the Business Week article linked above in Gus' (A.S. Ong Yiu) post entitled "High tech..There is Something Wrong Out There". The magazine borrows its title direct from a quote by the President of Seagate. Ahhh food for thought! An aside to Gus-> Wish I had your search engine prowess. Keep these posts coming!
Best,
Stitch
