My understanding is that the company will receive $270mm in cash for 90% of MCMS, and that the transaction will result in approximately $1/share gain related to sale.
I have the impression that this streamlining is part of a commitment to a "leaner & meaner" company more focused on its primary business.

MUEI has the engineering & customer support and obviously needs to work on manufactering model and marketing. They have launched their marketing efforts and hopefully they will bear fruit.

It is my understanding that parent MU is the low cost producer in the world of DRAM. If MUEI can find similar genes and apply some of that manufacturing savvy and cost control to its outstanding products things would be good.

Those who extol Dell should remember that things were not always so in Austin. Which is not to knock Dell, but to suggest there is hope for MUEI.
