I was personally a victim of the Nexium gouging.....their patent expired several years ago and generics are available....my gastro guy tells me they paid off the generic mfg's to keep them from selling here...they are supposed to be available now, but I haven't found it yet.... I beat the scam by adapting to omeprazole (Prilosec) although I admit Nexium is better....They sell Nexium in an OTC quantity which is no bargain.
