Josephus didn't write any histories till after Jesus's time.
That's true...why not? He wrote about the Masada siege in 74 in the prime of his live.......

Most ancient histories were written hundreds of years after the times they wrote about.
So we shouldn't even know about our Civil War yet by those standards......how can you explain that?
