More guns to Chicago or Baltimore might not stop the carnage but could help. No need to ship more guns, just make it easier for ordinary citizens to buy one.

That isn't a very clear statement. To the extent I can figure out what it means its not a very relevant statement and also not true

. I compared Chicago to Chicago, DC to DC, England and Wales to England and Wales. That's not a "national or world comparison" Its a comparison of one place over time. I didn't make any international comparison in the post you replied to. (I did in other posts, but it wasn't focused on comparisons of specifically high crime areas, it was the world as a whole, and Europe as a whole)

Its not true since high crime areas should be part of the comparison. Also if we do exclude them it makes the US look a lot better so I'm not sure why you would want to.
