If Congress only had the will to do it and the obstructionist Republicans and NRA would not oppose it, they could prevent another mass killing like the one in Oregon. It would be very simple to do. All they would need to do is pass a law that half black white supremacist neo nazis who are IRA loving, Christian hating psychos on psychiatric drugs cannot under any circumstances enter schools and shoot people. Violating this law could have severe and dire consequences. This new law could be widened to include theaters, hospitals and all gun free zones. The personal restrictions could be enlarged to include Muslims, atheists and religious haters of every type plus race haters and those who just want to shoot someone because they are nuts. I know this strict law would be a bold step for legislators but, gee whiz, something has to be done. This law would be a prime example of our elected Government officials boldly serving the American people and doing the people's work in Congress. It would illustrate the highest ideal of Government of the people, by the people and for the people. Hallelujah ! Amen !.
