Some Republican ideas are sensible......Mostly complete a$$holes but not all, i prefer to link with libertine conservatives, those who wish to conserve freedom. ( not the small minded freedoms of pea brained obsession) John Bachelor Have discovered this extremely bright republican/conservative who does broadcasts on am radio, he's one of the best out there. Does a nightly show of current events , geo /political, to most exhilirating historical book interviews. He's a Charlie Rose of the conservative set with as much variation, beyond the pale & one of those rare measured intellects , soft spoken but passionate. I like this guy so far, try a listen to a podcast or see if you get him there, real excellent thinking programs, the very best guests, as you say some republicans can be quite stimulating, here's one i highly recommend johnbatchelorshow.com ( though as always he is a republican, but we have finally got them trained...almost.)
