Did not realize Reindeer were so domesticated, and the pictures are just stunning.

I don't know how many readers stay at KOAs when they're traveling, but we just got back from a 2 1/2 week camping trip and utilized their campgrounds on several occasions. Most of them were quite nice...........only stayed at one we wouldn't recommend, just for one night thankfully. Of all the KOA's I've stayed at, the West Glacier KOA is several steps above and beyond the rest. Beautiful setting, and numerous amenities. It was clean and the camping spots were larger than normal. They have two pools..............one for adults and one for families (under construction) and two hot tubs. There's an ice cream parlor and a restaurant where you are served a continental breakfast. I think the most amazing thing we saw there were the camp spots that offered concrete patios with table and chairs, umbrella and your own gas grill. The bathroom/shower facilities in this part of the campground are incredible. This truly was a glamping experience.

You are one mile from the entrance to Glacier and another 3-4 miles from water slides, and an amusement park. We're probably going to go back next Summer and hopefully the whole family can come. If not, we're going to try to bring our grand kids and we'll spend a week there hiking at the park, playing at the water slide park and amusement park and just enjoying this wonderful KOA.

Having a wonderful evening dancing on our deck with my Karen.

I mentioned our living in N. Idaho and in the mountains of Lake Tahoe.

She reminded me that our favorites were always Montana and Wyoming.
We just never lived there. I said lets talk about it,

She dug and just played the album, Meet Me in Montana, by Dan Seals and Marie Osborne.
