Andreas: What was the open interest on SGIAC as of Friday? That will tell us whether the positions were opened up or closed out today. By the way, the volume figures are often wrong (too low) because several exchanges are reporting them and you frequently get only one exchange's number. The open interest, however, is all inclusive. (This from my schwab expert.)

re: SGI 10-to-1 PUT/CALL ratio.

Andreas: Thanks for the extensive update on SGI's option activities for Monday. However, my statement was based -solely- on last Friday's numbers as reported in Investor's Business Daily. I first posted these numbers to dd on Saturday <btw>.

>>Are you short?<<

No, wish I had been tho. Stupid me, I was waiting for SGI to do a "dead cat bounce" to 17 1/2 when it was 14. From there my plan was to buy PUTs. Well, as you know -no bounce-.

Now I'm just waiting for SGI to hit bottom. From there, I might go long and sell options. Waiting for some encouraging fundamental news before I buy in.
