Kenny, focus on political shit. I knew you dumb-ass libs would blame this on warm oceans. That's why I posted this plot of sea-surface temperature off east coast of U.S. (a.k.a. Western North Atlantic Ocean) four days ago. Message 30257467

Warm oceans of course play a role...but in terms of anomalies, there's no trend over the last 80 years. In other words, nothing new. You can't blame a 'rare' event on conditions that have existed often over the last 80 years.



The real factor is the upper-level, cold-core low. That was incredible. Add the ridge out of Canada that kept the low in place, which didn't allow the rain band to move up the coast.
