I was wondering what was happening to the stock price of HVAR. To bad the company waited so long to inform investors of their position, at one point shedding over 85% off the $1.25 price level at which the stock had been trading over the past several months. Now that the co. has come out and made an announcement I expect the stock price to move back into its 1.00/1.25 level. (at one point this year this co was trading at $5+) I'm not sure as to the number of shares outstanding or in the float, but today's low volume accompanied by sharp price increase indicates that perhaps there are not to many shares to go round. Be careful, this one could attract many a daytrader tomorrow. WESTON, Fla., Dec 22 (Reuters) - Havana Republic Inc said Monday it did not know why the price of its stock fell recently. It said the company's financial position remains strong. "Havana's cash position remains strong due to its recent successful financing, and the company has sufficient funds to open three additional emporiums," said President Stephen Schatzman in a release. Schatzman was responding to shareholder inquiries, the company said.
