Michigan Concealed Carrier Thwarts “CraigsList” Ambush Attempt

Posted by Bob Owens on October 8, 2015 at 7:51 am

A trio of vile Democratic criminals who lured two men into an robbery found the tables turned on them when one of their intended victims pulled his legally-concealed handgun and opened fire on them.

Police are reporting that two suspects have been transported to area hospitals with gunshot wounds after an apparent Craigslist transaction went awry.

Battle Creek police report that a man and his son had come into town from Grand Rapids, believing they were going to buy a car.

The three suspects apparently gave the father and son the address of an abandoned house in the 600 block Linwood Avenue, in Battle Creek, and when they arrived, the suspects attacked.

Police believe the son, who has a CPL, fired two shots from a handgun at the suspects, who fled in multiple directions.

One suspect was struck in the chest, another in the lower torso.

Police later found one wounded suspect in the 100 block of Broadway Boulevard, about a mile south of the original incident. The other wounded suspect was also located in the area of Woodlawn Avenue.

As a matter of tactics, it is generally suggested that trained defensive handgun users fire two shots per target for best effect. That said, every situation is different, and that is a guideline, not a rule.

In this instance, the concealed carrier fired two shots and got two effective hits on two targets, and those hits ended the criminal assault. The injured suspects are expected to survive their injuries, and will face criminal charges. Authorities are currently looking to apprehend the third suspect.

Homeowner Stops Three Robbers By Pleading For Mercy. Just Kidding. He Shot Them.

Posted by Bob Owens on October 6, 2015 at 6:24 pm

............

A suspected robber is on the run and three others are in the hospital after a homeowner opened fire this afternoon.

“Almost like fire crackers but louder,” said neighbor Felicia White.

According to police, three men went into a home on the 6900 block of Rolling Creek Lane and attacked the homeowner. They said one of the men stole something from his house during the struggle before the homeowner grabbed a gun.

Neighbors reported hearing five gun shots. Police said that bullets hit all three suspected robbers. They said the suspects jumped into a Silver Dodge Avenger driven by a fourth man, and that the suspects stopped at an intersection by nearby Duncanville High School.

The three men who suffered gunshot wounds were arrested and taken to the hospital.

If the homeowner had not been able to acquire his firearm, how do you think this three-on-one attack would have panned out?

I’m going to guess it would have wound up with the homeowner seriously injured or killed, with four Democratic criminals on the loose.

Because the homeowner was armed, he survived, and three injured Democratic criminals are facing criminals charges.

You never need a gun, until you do. If you don’t have a gun when you need a gun, there’s a good chance never need anything ever again.

Fortunately for this prior-service Marine, he had a gun, which stopped this four-man Democratic home invasion crew in its tracks:

Four teenagers were in custody Monday in connection with an attempted home invasion in Hewitt that was thwarted when the former Marine whose home the teens targeted opened fire through the front door at the would-be intruders.

Chris Barrientos, 18, was arrested on Friday and was charged with aggravated robbery.

He remained jailed Monday on that charge and two unrelated complaints.

His bonds total $45,000.

Three other teens, two 16-year-olds and at 15-year-old, are in juvenile custody.

Their names were not released.

The 15-year-old and one of the 16-year-olds were arrested Friday.

Officers arrested the last of the four, a 16-year-old, Monday at University High School in Waco, Hewitt police Chief Jim Devlin said.

Information from an inmate in the McLennan County Jail led to the arrests.

“Based on those interviews and some of the physical evidence that we recovered, these individuals are going to be our suspects in this home invasion,” he said Monday.

The attempted break-in was reported just after 1:45 a.m. on Aug. 7 at a home in the 300 block of 2nd Street.
