Encore flying off the shelves: techstocks.com David, Just bought the Encore DVD at CompUSA they had an awesome display booth that compared the sound of conventional PC speakers with the Creative Speakers and DVD. What a great sell job. I bought immediately and spoke to the store manager who said that since they installed the demo booth they are flying off the shelves. I got the third to last. The clerk said they had sold over twenty in the last few days and they are on reorder and will go up to $350 on 12/97 in the New Year from the current $299 discount. It plays 20X CDRom as well as DVD and has TV hookup on the Board. The Speakers were incredible. The head of PR in the store said that it is an incredibly hot Item. FWIW. I now own one. Got it before my new PC. The Build to Order craze is hear and the Encore is perfectly positioned for add-on. DrRisk
