He was asked what he would do. And he responded by saying he wouldn't just stand there, but he would go down fighting. Which is what you would expect from a highly rational individual like Carson. Many of us would not have the presence of mind to do this, but there were certainly some brave souls on 9/11 who reacted in just that manner, and they probably saved a lot of lives in the process. >> Then he follows that up by saying he had a guy put a gun in his rib at a store and he told the guy he should aim the gun at the guy behind the counter rather than him. No, that isn't what he did. Realizing that the best option was for the gunman to get the money and leave, Carson pointed out that he wasn't the guy with the money. As it turned out, the gunman then retrieved what he came after and left. These are two entirely different scenarios and he clearly made the correct judgment in both. Once again, you're just hating on the guy without thinking about it. Essentially every one of these comments that he is being criticized for -- at least those that were substantive -- have been correct, scientifically or rationally. Yesterday, assholes were criticizing him for using the term "vanilla envelope" in a a sentence. Now, I don't know whether he spent his entire career mispronouncing that term, perhaps he did. But that no more matters than Obama talking about "57 states". This is just campaign hate, that flows both directions, but mostly from the Left. If you don't listen to the man I really don't see how you make a judgment about him other than based on partisanship.
