Sorry, I trade strictly techs.

That's what I mean about long-term holds. I did the same thing with Cymer. I've been holding my CYMI shares for about 6 months now. I was up 30% just a few months ago...now fortunes have reversed and the stock has been stuck in the teens. Now I'm down about 50% in it. I remember when this stock was the hottest thing going in the semis. Now the funds seem to think the chip-sector has leprosy and won't touch them.

You just have to know when to let go...you can always come back, after all. Now I'm going to have to wait twice as long to make the same amount of money -- just like I did with CSCO at the beginning of the year. What a waste of time!

Are you still sitting on profits? You can never go wrong locking in gains. If the sector is rotating out of favor, you might want to get to the door first -- do you have access to that data?
