Biosource (NASDAQ:BIOI) extends stock repurchase

CAMARILLO, Calif, Dec 22 (Reuters) - BioSource
International Inc said it extended the common stock repurchase
program, and authorized the purchase of up to one million
shares from December 22, 1997 to December 23, 1998.
In light of the recent price range of its stock, the board
determined to more aggressively purchase shares.
BioSource International's stock repurchase program was
initiated for a 12-month period on April 22, 1997, and was
previously authorized to purchase up to 200,000 shares of
common stock. Through the period ended on December 19, 1997 it
purchased 200,000 shares at an average price of $6.37 per
share.
