Hillary Clinton was a big part of implementing the new strategy, but had to defer to Obama on things she disagreed with. I wouldn't have allowed the State Dept become involved in Ukraine they way they did, but maybe that turns good in the end.

The US has historically been far too involved in "regime change", never having a credible and practical plan for what comes next. Bringing down a government is easy, but then what?
