all of which make clear that the door for taking action on greenhouses gases — actions that might mitigate far more dramatic consequences — is rapidly closing.
Has anyone given an estimate of when the door will be closed? I would like some idea of when it will be too late.
Once we nail that time down we could set up a clock to count down to doomsday or something like that.
It seems to me that it will be a long. long time into the future since we are told by the warmers that the earth is warming at a rate of 1.7 degrees a century. Even that is within the margin of error. So in reality it may not be warming at all.
It just seems there is a lot of fear and dread over something that probably will never happen and for certain will not effect any one alive today. It seems to me that a lot of the fear mongering is the result of many varied hidden agendas.
Seems to be a lot of talk about science here.
One thing history has taught us about science is that today's science is tomorrow's old wives tales.
Today you can find science to support a coming great cooling of the earth. Then there are the warmers who claim science in on their side. If the science has so many sides who is to say any of them are correct.
My opinion is that it will all pan out in time. This earth is extremely resilient. It will be just fine.
Some people are desperate for a cause so they can feel important and that their little insignificant lives amount to something. I guess saving mother Earth is the biggest cause they can find. Every generation of mankind wants to believe they live in pivotal times. If they can find no reason for believing it they will make something up. heh heh

REPORT: CARBON DIOXIDE GOOD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT SAYS UN SCIENTIST
breitbart.com
Carbon dioxide emissions are making the Earth greener and more fertile, a United Nations (UN) climate scientist has said.

In a paper for the Global Warming Policy Foundation, Dr Indur Goklany, who has previously represented the United States on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), says that the rising level of carbon dioxide in the Earth’s atmosphere “is currently net beneficial for both humanity and the biosphere generally”.

The benefits are real, whereas the costs of warming are uncertain,” he adds....
