Thanks for your lame question… I know their legit because of the organizations they're associated with such as the National Science Academy, NOAA, NASA and the publications they publish their papers in, such as Nature, Proceeds of National Academy of Science, Science, etc.. You are on the outside of science academia and clearly have a very shallow understanding of it. You're a prime candidate for being suckered by the climate change denier industry.
