Ask yourself what your time frame is, if it's five years just hold, those stocks (maybe not nxtl) should do better then bonds by far. If one was truly bearish they be in the long bond now, even Hank the dell thread bear, has longs as does Buffet, I myself hold one major stock T, and mutal funds that I will not touch. We might go down 20% or more but if we look back two three years afterwards it will be a blip on the screen. 1998 is going to be looked backed on as a year of wrenching change in the high tech. market place as move away from the pc centric model. 1998 will looked on as the true beginning of the wired world. IMHO
