Pierregris,

I would have expected wishes for a gray christmas, just like the ones we used to know (here at Naxos), but your "mistletoe epistle" takes my breath away. I have not been able to make sense of your place on this thread and am thinking that the now-lengthening days are having a salutory effect on your seasonal affective disorder. You might consider "light therapy" but rather than wasting a lot of cash on those full spectrum bulbs, let me respectfully suggest the enlightenment of purchasing a few Naxos shares.

Whatever gray shadows you dwell in, I would like to thank you for your wishes and in turn wish you and your family all happiness in this season.

The best,

Lawrence

Very erudite and well-wishing, GrimyRock.
Could I have mis-identified you in that none of your [by my presumption] alter-egos (Grasso, HL, etc) even occasionally mis-spell theirs?

Graystone,
A very Merry Chritmas to you as well. A gold mine is clearly redundant when you have a great treasure at home excitedly watching the pile of presents grow.

A very merry christmas and happy, healthy new year to you and your family.

Henry Volquardsen

ps now that you have revealed a good heart we will put you on the list for conversion next year ;)

Your Holiday post is gratefully and happily acknowledged.
But it does remind me of a story--purportedly true:
During World War I, during the terrible trench fighting, on one Christmas Eve in one of the sections of the front, the Allied and German soldiers came together between the front lines, lit up a small Christmas tree, sang carols together and shared some food and drinks---------They then went back to their trenches; and on the morning after Christmas, they resumed the task of killing each other.

It would be nice if goodwill for each other lasted more than a day.
