What am I missing with all the chatter about banning assault rifles....? I was always of the understanding that an "assault rifle" by definition was selective fire weapon that had a full auto or burst capacity mode in addition to a safe mode and an a semi auto mode....at least...the ones I have seen and handled...fully auto weapons of any kind are strictly regulated and not generally available so all the chatter about banning assault rifles is really all about banning those weapons that LOOK LIKE assault rifles....?? Seems like just one more instance of the left not knowing shit from shinola and putting the fear of God into people based upon a lie..
