K, Moving article about Africa. On or about the year 1969, Paul Urlich, an educator and social scientist wrote a book called the "Population Bomb". I recently reviewed some of the staggering information contained in the pages of that work. It is as if he had a "crystal ball". AIDS did not have a name yet, but he did mention a disease that was very dangerous and unstopable. As for teen pregnancy, he suggested wholesale distribution of condoms and other birth control devices as well as a comprehensive sex education. In this country, we have taken some action, although there is much still to be done. The cultural and traditional barriers have got to be crossed or the massive HIV-infected populations from other countries will threaten all our lives. I would like to see 100% of the people tested for HIV and strict immigration policies enforced. 100% testing is only a start. It still comes down to one fundamental issue, education. Go TRIBY and Amen. OUT
