David,

Thanks for the info about the Net-Arm. As I stated in my long winded earlier post, it looks like the Net-Arm and IQX-200 may be selling well judging by the increased sales backlog. What else could be fueling the backlog in your opinion?

Another question for you. How many companies out there have the fiber network in place to purchase the Gigamux? Are there a lot of Brooks Fiber's out there? What about Qwest? I just saw in the Chicago Trib that Qwest is offering low long-distance rates through its fiber-optic networks. Are they more in need of a Ciena long-haul product? I really just want to know if the market for short-haul really is as big as the long-haul DWDM market.

Thanks in advance,

Grant

<<There are currently 15 printer manufacturers that are designing Net Arm into their products according to the conference call.>>

At the stockholders meeting, Par said that every printer manufacturer in the world except HP and some other brand, whose name I don't recall, are using Osicom's Net Arm. I don't know why HP is not using it but I think they have had their own similar technology for some time but were using it as a proprietary device. Now every printer manufacturer can match HP with Osicom's Net Arm.
Maybe someone knows more about this.

Mila

Do you have any idea how the cutbacks at NASA announced today might affect the testing of the Gigamux?

Thanks
