maybe i was a little harsh on you..
so i am sorry..
really..
you have clarified your intentions and because you have broken it down into specifics via %... maybe the rest of the people lurking here realize that the shares owned by you/ your clients can go to 0..
and you can absorb it..
that doesn't mean that you will not sell @ $8 or nine or lighten your load a little above $%.. it all is relative to what the goals of your clients are..
maybe i came across as a pit bull..
but you have to realize that every day i have people that haven't shown their intentions screaming buy, buy, buy.. and for no reqson other than fear of missing a "ride" that is the purpose of buying and holding..
do you not agree.. that via the nature of said money managers.. that a base is in order and i did describe when i would buy anmd hold this stock.. that the technical "ice" is way too thin?
now comparing a high risk manager to buffett.. who basically started a mutual fund...via ownership of berkshire.. and lynch..
that may not be a good thing..
or right but i will not debate with you who you are and what you do..
btw soros and gabelli cannot come close to buffett.. buffett is like the babe ruth of the investment business..
be well.

OT-
what is your opinion of reverse splits..
i think that they are BAD in illiquid stocks and bad in general..
remember those guys pounding the table telling me to buy XCL..
well i have been cleaning some loose ends and saw $4 i was like dooh!
must have been a reverse split..
well
fast.quote.com
there it is
they were screaming buy @7/16+++
so 15x 1/2=$7.50
- current=$4
total loss=$3.50
plus commisions of course..
47% loss in a few weeks.. and trying to sell that @ marhet devoured by the spread would be light..
i do believe that like 1/20 {i am being geneous} reverse splits are slated for going private..
but few are successful..
your connections may be better than mine..
if you would do me a xmas favor lemme know what you think..
i promise.. good or bad that i will not bust your chops over your answer
