Possible other use for ponatinib?

Don't know if someone has posted this somewhere but seems appropriate to post here. The pilot study is with nilotinib.

Is there a mechanism that might explain the signs of efficacy?

The article said that the study was reported at the Society for Neuroscience meeting this saturday but I didn't see a link (didn't search too hard though)
