They are tragic outliers, and you can't go around taking away Constitutional rights under Amendments 1 and 2 -- the most important of the entire Bill of Rights -- to accommodate a confused belief that you can stop gun violence. All you do is take away peoples' rights. The problem here is there is not even any compelling evidence that taking away rights would make a dent in the problem.
