collectively, we're not smart enough to keep a republic. our shortsightedness and ignorance contains the seeds of our misery. we might not be doomed, but our misery is going to expand and deepen. eventually life may not be worth living. what a mess.

Well said.

Both Texas and Louisiana are now talking about cutting funding from Planned Parenthood in their states by restricting or abolishing Medicaid payments.

But we all know that the Obama administration, or one of its countless tentacle agencies, will come up with some extraordinary punitive measures in order to strong-arm both states to continue funding a private organization that the left supports.

Whatever happened to states' rights (or for that matter limited government, individual rights, national sovereignty, and all those other apparently antiquated ideas that meant so much to our founders)?

And where is the outrage that that proud and noble foundation is being dismantled, brick by brick, by a man (and his minions) who isn't qualified to be a local dog catcher?
