FMK and All:

At the least, the timing of these resignations stinks. If the CEO wants to move on with his life, that is fine with me. If the new CEO wants to make some changes to the team, that is fine as well. But it sure would have been a lot easier on the investors in this company if these moves had been made AFTER production had begun and contracts announced.

Having said that, I see no reason in this announcement to assume that the resignation is associated with a significant problem. In fact, given VLNC's extraordinarily bland PR style, I find the words "readying the Northern Ireland Plant for production" to be the most optimistic comment I can find in a recent VLNC press release. Let's hope that optimism is warranted.

Something else must be up as the pre-opening bid/ask of VLNC is $5.1875 X $5.3125, in other words, not much change! You'd think that with an announcement of another top exec retiring that this one would be in the tank! What's going on? I'm not complaining, mind you. But still, I'd like to be clued in if there's any cluing in to do.
