DJ, the problem I have with the forecasts for rebounds in DRAM is none of these forecasters saw (or they looked the other way) the massive overcapacity. Consider how many of the so called experts saw the problems in SE Asia before the fact not many especially on Wall St. . Even now few of the "experts" realize the devastating impact the events in SE Asia will have on the world economy. I guess it is hard to sell stocks when you consider the ugly reality so better to err on the side of unwarranted optimism and don't worry about all the people who will get hurt. They may come to regret their recklessness if things get out of control because it will be easy to assign blame especially in a country where we seek to blame others and ignore personal responsibility. The talk of a rebound is wishfull thinking to squeeze the last drop of blood from the suckers. Mike
