The insider buying is great news. The key said it was a financial officer or treasurer. The buying was >> the selling. Looking back at a possible Windows CE on Sega, I think that regardless of the chip it uses, it will be a big boon to 3dfx in the long run if they can continue to capture gamer's mindshare. The more software that gets designed for the Windows environment, the better the PC will emerge as a gaming platform to compete with the older standards. It would really be nice if there were no incompatible gaming spheres like Nintendo 64 vs Sega vs Sony playstation vs PCs. Right now, 3dfx isn't in the first 3 platforms while it is really establishing leadership in the PC arena. If software converges due to economies of scale for the hardware, 3dfx will be a benificiary as will other PC graphics chip manufacturers.
