I use Trade Station. For each chart I look at Moving Averages, Stochastics, Bollinger Bands and Momentum. SOmetimes I will also look at RSI, MACD and CCI (but rarely).

I short when Moving Averages chart turns down along with Stochastics turining and crossing the 80 line. Conversely I buy when they move up. If I am not sure what the chart is indicating, I use the EXPERT opinion in Trade Station to tell me in words what the charts are indicating. I did that hundreds of times till over time I got to understand just by looking at the chart.
