Reg - First, please tell me why there will be less choices if MSFT integrates. Not to be rude, but can you count? Right now, customers have a choice as to what browser to use (>1). If/when MSFT fully integrates IE, customers will have no choice (0) as to what browser to use with their systems. What part of no choice don't you understand? -justinb

My premise is that there will be less choices if the consumer is required to take MSFT's browser as a condition of taking Win95. I am not saying that they shouldn't be allowed to integrate, but that the consumer should be able to buy a version of Win95 without the integration. I believe that they should also be required to add a standard, published API so that other vendors can plug in their browsers that would function as the browser with which the integration works. Thus, for example, if I click on a link in any application, I can make the NSCP browser to be used to follow the link.
