Yes I have an opinion on SCOP. Short it. Even though it was down $1.125 today, you can still make money on it. At over $12, it was a beauty of a short. Overbought on stochastics and on a severe and long downtrend. Load up the dumptruck with borrowed shares and dump them on the market. If you are interested in trying to pick a bottom, my advice is don't. Instead, wait for the trend to turn up and buy on the first dip. Doing anything else is taking on too much risk. * 1 STOCK - 1 WEEK * 12-23-97 Standings Alan maintains his lead, although several of us are nipping at his heels (wanted to say nose since it's Christmas, but it just wouldn't fit). The shorts are definately driving things for now with 3 of the top 5 places...weakness abounds....everywhere except in Jackay's AOL which seems to always go up no matter what happens even though almost everyone thinks it is VERY overvalued....hadn't AOL planned on expanding to Asia??? The group averages are both still negative: the average share is down over 80 cents and the group is down just over 1%: the group percenatge did not change much today since the gainers offset most of the losses...
