Richard, #1-yes, #2-no.
The PR said "The Form SB-2 registration statement registered warrants and underlying shares of common stock to be distributed to Maxam shareholders of record on March 13, 1997."
I thought you had traded MXAM--did you file a form 144? If you haven't, you might want to call your broker to reassure yourself that the stocks he holds for you are tradable (not restricted).
