I agree. Clearly ALYD originally thought Chase would bring in business in Europe. When ALYD began securing contracts overseas themselves it behooved them to buy out Chase. Why take 50% of the profit, or less, when you can have 100%?

Chase obviously thinks that if ALYD, a US company, can get Y2K contracts in Europe, Chase's own back yard, then they should be able to as well. I guess we'll just have to watch the wires and let the contract announcements speak for themselves.

Another case of much ado about nothing.
